Nairobi Junior Super Cup: building a stage where future stars shine

The Nairobi Junior Super Cup has become the branch's biggest weekend for young players. Edition 2 is done, and registration for the third is now open.

Behind every great tournament is great teamwork. A big thank you to everyone at the Nairobi Junior Super Cup and FKF Nairobi West for making Edition 2 possible: the organisers, the volunteers, the match officials, the coaches and the parents who spent their weekend on the touchline.

Together, we're building a stage where future stars shine.

Why the branch runs a youth showpiece

Weekly league football teaches young players consistency. A tournament teaches them something different: how to play three matches in a day, how to recover from a bad result within the hour, and how to perform when the touchline is three deep and somebody is filming.

It also puts every age-group side in the branch in the same place at the same time. Coaches see what other clubs are doing, scouts and academy staff see a whole cohort in a single weekend, and players from smaller clubs get a fixture they will remember for years.

Together, we're building a stage where future stars shine.

Edition 3 is open

Registration for the third edition of the Nairobi Junior Super Cup is now open to clubs across the branch. Sides from all four sub-counties are eligible, and clubs new to branch competition are welcome to enter.

Entering Edition 3

  • Open to age-group sides from Langata, Dagoretti, Westlands and Starehe
  • Clubs must register players before the tournament draw
  • New clubs are welcome, and branch affiliation can be completed alongside entry
  • Enter through your league secretary or the branch office

Partners, sponsors and volunteers who want to be part of the next edition are encouraged to contact the branch office. A tournament of this size runs on the people who show up early and leave last.
